Level two of the NCCP is comprised of three different components: Theory, Technical and Practical.
The technical portion is available through an Ontario Basketball NCCP clinic. Topics covered in this course include: Socialization, Teaching, Analysis of Skills, Footwork and Dribbling and many more.
A list up upcoming level two basketball technical clinics can be found at the bottom of this page.
The Theory portion is available through the Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO) and is called Comp Intro Part B. Topics in this course include: Basic Mental Skills, Design a Basic Program and Teaching and Learning.

The practical portion evolves a peer evaluation and the submission of the practical application as well as other supporting documentation.
To receive Practical Level 2 certification a candidate is required to:
Complete three years of coaching experience, defined as a minimum of- Training/Practice Component 150 hours (70 - 80 Practices), Game Component 80 hours (40 games). This may be achieved by coaching more than one team within two years.
Pre-requisite: Full Level 1 Certification, Level 2 Technical Clinic, Comp Intro Part B.
Assignment: Submit a Practical Application; Submit Peer Coach Evaluation, and a Reference Letter.
