“It is a very exciting time of year for basketball in our province,” said Michael T. Cvitkovic, executive director, Ontario Basketball. “Coming off the Carleton Ravens amazing CIS basketball title run and with the Ontario Cup Provincial Championships only a few weeks away, now is a great opportunity to support another group of great Ontario athletes. These 23 individuals represent countless hours of dedication not only by the athletes themselves, but also the OBA clubs and coaches that played a part in their journey to March Madness.”
OBA tips off its Ontario Cup Provincial Championships beginning March 23 as approximately 1,200 teams compete over eight weekends in 12 major cities. Visit www.basketball.on.ca for schedule and results.
